For those of you that are hosting this Christmas, this post is for you. It’s a well known fact that I like things to look pretty and a little extra, and decorating the table for Christmas lunch is something I would definitely do.
If you’re on a budget and not the most crafty of folk, but still want to make your table look a little bit special, I’ve found some inspiration to give you some ideas. They are all super duper easy to do, and shouldn’t cost too much, especially if you already have some the items lying around at home.

Deer snow scene lantern
I love this one so much, it’s the cute little deer that does it. Get a lantern that opens, fill the bottom with a layer of artificial snow and then pop in a miniature deer and christmas tree. If you want it to light up, then put a couple of battery operated tea lights inside. I really want to give this one a go myself.
Pinecone name holders
These look so cute and would cost literally nothing if you could find some pinecones. I’m guessing if you’re reading this blog you also have access to a pen, paper and scissors, so you could make the name tags for free. If you wanted to get real fancy, you could get some kraft cardstock and make them from that.
